Spot 6-7 | Coverage Metropolitan France 2024 – Completed

DINAMIS informs you of the closure of the coverage of mainland France acquired in 2024 at very high spatial resolution by the Spot 6 satellite (acquired between March 19, 2024 and November 17, 2024, produced in December 2024 by IGN).

Coverage in mainland France will be online in the DINAMIS catalog, accessible via this link: https://dinamis.data-terra.org/catalogue/ in early 2025.

A total of 240 meshes, or more than 270 scenes, were acquired and validated between March 19 and November 17, 2024, then orthorectified by IGN with a spatial resolution of 1.5 m for the PANchromatic collection and 6 m for the MultiSpectral collection.

To achieve this result this year, we came up against unprecedented meteorological difficulties, which required a major commitment on the part of all those involved (ADS for optimal satellite programming, IGN for scene validation and the work of overlapping, IRD and INRAe for reception operationality).

Metropolitan coverage data is available in raw (non-ortho rectified) form on the DINAMIS catalog, along with previous years’ vintages.

National Coverage 2024 will be available at the beginning of 2025, along with previous vintages in Open Data on https://openspot-dinamis.data-terra.org/
