The Spot 6 and Spot 7 optical satellite constellation, manufactured, launched, and operated since 2013 by Airbus, is a continuation of the Spot 1-5 constellation, which ceased operations in 2015. The Spot 7 satellite ceased operations in 2023. The data is delivered at a spatial resolution of 1.5 meters in panchromatic mode and 6 meters in multispectral mode.
This data has been made available by DINAMIS to its Authorized users since 2014, via an institutional contract held by INRAE and IRD on behalf of the Facility.
Authorized users:
- Default: Authorized DINAMIS users only. For eligibility requirements and access terms and conditions, see the Eligible Users page.
- Exception: access to France mainland coverages (ortthorectified products) is open to General public in Open data. See the Data banking Policy page.
Access to archive ordering or to tasking requests: Spot 6-7 products already acquired by DINAMIS or by DINAMIS Authorized users are displayed and available for download from the DINAMIS Catalog, and in the case of the France Coverage Open Data Experiment, via the DINAMIS Open Data Application.
