Coverage of mainland France available in Open Data in Merged Mode

Since October 2023, orthorectified products from Spot 6-7 coverage of mainland France from 2014 to 2022 have been made available as Open Data on https://openspot-dinamis.data-terra.org.

This experiment, carried out by DINAMIS with the support of Airbus Defense & Space, responds to user demand for open data. It aims to facilitate and boost innovation and the development of new information services at local and national levels, based on Spot 6-7 data time series.

In response to growing interest from users, we are releasing Spot 6-7 coverage data in 1.5m Merged Mode (PanSharpened) from July 2024. The years 2022 and 2023 are available in Open-Data on https://openspot-dinamis.data-terra.org/ by selecting the “Merged (1.5m)” mode, and we will be making previous years available from autumn 2024.

Merged or PanSharpened data are products that combine the visual information of Multispectral data with the spatial information of Panchromatic data, providing a high-resolution color product at 1.5 meters.
